Demo-era answerEA unverifiedNoindexP2 tasksettlement

Quick fix · Settlement work order

Farm planted, but nothing is growing?

Symptom: A planted farm appears frozen while the party is away or after the settlement work roster changes.

Short answerGrowth may depend on dungeon time and an eligible caretaker remaining at the settlement.

Most likely cause
A pre-release player report points to two conditions: the dungeon time slice advances growth, and someone may need to remain available to tend the farm.
Do this now

Legacy test path—reconfirm every label and control in the EA build.

  1. Step 1Confirm the plot is planted and its displayed input is present.
  2. Step 2Leave one eligible settler at the settlement without Prioritize Sleep enabled.
  3. Step 3Enter the dungeon briefly, return, and compare the plot state before changing anything else.
Success feedback

The plot visibly advances one growth state. If it does not, stop: seed type, caretaker eligibility, and release-build timing are still unresolved.
